We have been asked recently about why there is such a wide range of filling prices on dental websites.
At VIDA, whether you’re having a filling because of decay, or, because you have decided to reshape looking teeth with natural looking composite, we will give great attention to recreating the natural details of your tooth.
However, what patients often come to VIDA for is an exceptionally beautiful and natural filling on a very visible tooth. The aim of the game is to not let anybody know you even have a filling. Those occasions call for an extra special something. That something, we call composite artistry.
Composite artistry fillings are very different to fillings placed to rebuild teeth that have broken down from decay. Often, composite artistry is used where there has been no decay or disease at all. Your dentist has to design and create a new tooth shape, in harmony with your other teeth and facial smile. Then they must ensure that the new shape works within your bite, and is comfortable when you speak.
We may also be choosing to whiten the teeth first, or straightening teeth, before composite artistry is completed.
For all these reasons, the filling fees quoted on many dental websites may be particularly misleading, because by the time your individuality has been considered, the fees quoted may be very different to those you read about on the website. At VIDA, our competitive New Patient Consultation fees, inclusive of x-rays, allow you to be examined by a dentist and receive a more accurate guide to the price of any fillings you may be considering.
Call 01329823040 today for a New Patient Consultation £69 if you are considering any dentistry in the coming months. We will even refund your consultation fee if you join VIDA as a Denplan member on the day.
