As part of our commitment to supporting patients with, or at risk of developing, diabetes, McInerney dental practice is pleased to announce that our monthly diabetes and oral health clinics are starting next week.
We have a specialist diabetes nurse in the practice to answer any queries you may have about your diabetes, its treatment or complications. They can also advise people who don’t have diabetes how to reduce the risk of developing it. In addition they will be able to measure your blood sugar levels and your blood pressure.
Judith will also be available to advise how diabetes affects the mouth and how improving your oral health can have a beneficial effect upon the control of your diabetes.
